As you know, WRJ will be 100 years old in 2013. We are already hard at work planning a fabulous centennial celebration which will kick-off at the upcoming 48th assembly. As part of the kick-off, we are compiling a video retrospective about Women of Reform Judaism. To give the most complete vision of our great work, we need your help.
Please send us photographs of your current sisterhood in action: working in the community; fundraising; at meetings; or just having fun. Selected photos may be used in this professionally-produced video which will be available to sisterhoods on the WRJ website, as well as shown at the upcoming assembly. High-quality digital photographs of 300 dpi or better are required. (Scanned images are fine. Remember we want historical and contemporary images.) There is no limit to the number of images you can send. If you know someone else who has photos which could help WRJ, please forward them this information. Submissions will be accepted until Friday, May 20th. Because the photos you submit will be large, you cannot e-mail them directly to WRJ. We recommend you send them via Dropbox, which is software that syncs your files online and allows you to share them with others. The copy of your file will be stored on Dropbox’s secured servers. The software works on PC or Mac. Using Dropbox is free and easy. To share your photos with Dropbox follow these instructions (they will be given to you on the Dropbox website as well.) Install Dropbox on your computer and share your photos with WRJ
Using a PC
Using a Mac Go to the Dropbox website. Follow the steps 3 – 5 above. WRJ will edit the review and select from the photos you have submitted. By uploading photos to Dropbox you give WRJ permission to use these images for promotion of good will, public education, and/or fundraising and other related activities of WRJ, and waive any right to inspect or approve the recording(s) or finished version(s) of works, including website, incorporating these. If you have any questions about sharing photos with WRJ, please contact Sharon Paley at spaley@wrj.org. Sharon M.
