Pacific District scholarships are available to individuals and Sisterhoods/women’s groups for the District, WRJ events, and some URJ events that promote and support PD goals and initiatives, as resources allow. The goal is to allow our members to enhance their leadership skills and further their connections to the District and WRJ. The Pacific District Scholarship Committee will regularly review applications as they are submitted. All decisions will be made after the application deadline. Notifications will be made within one week after the deadline.
Individual Members and members in a Sisterhood may apply for a scholarship by submitting the application below.
Guidelines and Requirements:
- Recipient (individual, Sisterhood, or women’s group) must be an affiliated/member of the Women of Reform Judaism, in good standing, with current dues paid.
- Scholarships are based on financial need. Check with your own Sisterhood or women’s group and your clergy for additional financial support first.
- Scholarships will be awarded as equitably as possible with the available funds.
