March 12-15, 2026
Pasadena, California
In Pasadena, we explored our passions, build our community, and took action to create a more just world. Our convention theme, “Every Woman, Every Voice,” was a call to celebrate, elevate, and empower. This guiding message was echoed throughout convention, shaping every experience, conversation, and connection.
Together, we created a space where each woman’s voice mattered and where our collective energy could become a catalyst for transformation. Our goal was for every attendee to leave not only recharged but ready to spark change within themselves, their sisterhoods, and their communities. We achieved this with the help of dynamic and inspiring speakers and amazing programming, activities, and workshops.
We were honored to welcome two special WRJ guests: WRJ CEO Rabbi Liz P.G. Hirsch and WRJ Board Secretary Jane Karlin. Joining them was an incredible lineup of speakers from across our vibrant Jewish community; individuals who are thought leaders, storytellers, and change-makers with powerful messages to share.
Each attendee was part of something truly special: a one-of-a-kind workshop journey every attendee could craft for themself. Our four-tiered thematic experience began with “Finding Our Voices,” then moved to “Hearing the Voices of Others,” continued with “Using My Voice to Build Sisterhood,” and culminated in “Voices from the Community.”
It was not just about the programs, workshops, prayers, and plenaries - it was about connection and transformation. Between sessions, we engaged in uplifting activities that helped us reflect, express, and grow. Whether it was raising our voices in a joyful sing-along, listening inward during a guided meditation, or bonding through games, coffee walks, and shared moments, every experience was designed to enrich and empower.
We hope this glimpse of what we experienced in Pasadena will excite and inspire you to join us at our next convention in 2029! Bring your voice. Bring your light. Be with us in 2029!

My Favorite Convention Memories
Lillian Burkenheim Silver
My favorite Convention memories are being with my Sisters exploring new experiences. My first Convention was in Oakland. We flew into San Francisco Airport and took the BART to Oakland. It was my first time leaving my family and trekking on a girls’ trip. And it was exciting, informative and fun. The seasoned members of our Sisterhood held nightly slumber parties for everyone, where we met and talked about what we learned, our lives and everything under the sun. There were so many exciting programs and ideas I remember being excited to come home and recreate some of them at our Sisterhood.
My second favorite Convention memory was at the Convention in Portland. There is just something so incredibly warm and embracing about being with friends you only see at Convention. The city, the convention, the people. I was inspired. Phyllis Bigelson gave a speech about getting involved with the District. I talked with her about opportunities and by the time we landed back in LA I was involved in planning the next Convention.
This year, there were no flights, no hotel, but there was still lots of opportunities to learn and connect. Can’t wait to find my next Convention memory!
