WRJ's Fried Women's Conference

Made possible in part by a generous gift from WRJ Board member Joanne B. Fried, the Fried Women's Conference (FWC), formerly the Fried Leadership Conference, is WRJ’s annual flagship event. It is a 4-day experience to hone leadership skills, further Jewish learning, and deepen connections with other sisterhoods, leaders, and WRJ.

FWC is intended for current, rising, and experienced sisterhood leaders, WRJ Board members and Board alumnae, new WRJ members, and any identifying woman interested in WRJ and the Reform Movement. There is something for everyone at FWC: it is the perfect opportunity to gain and fine-tune skills, strengthen sisterhoods, broaden Jewish knowledge and spiritual horizons, and learn about and connect (or reconnect) with WRJ.

Attendees will participate in workshops and learning sessions, create connections and network with other Reform women, experience meaningful Shabbat worship, learn from experts and from each other, and enjoy time together with WRJ leaders and friends. FWC attendees will leave feeling rejuvenated and, with the support of their WRJ sisters, be better prepared to guide their own sisterhoods and serve as leaders in their communities.

FWC presents a valuable opportunity to network with women from throughout the United States, Canada, and around the world, to gather in worship with friends, and to develop new and lasting friendships. We invite every sisterhood and individual member to join us each year as we enhance our skills and learn new and innovative ideas to share with our sisterhoods and women’s groups.
