WRJ Pacific District 2026 Convention Voting Process
The following is in accordance with our Pacific District Bylaws.
Every Sisterhood is allowed to vote their full complement of allowed votes regardless of the number of women attending. This including the formula to calculate number of votes is spelled out in Article VII of our Bylaws (see below). In addition, for a Legislative Body meeting, all elected PD Board members receive one vote, as well as non-elected Committee Chairs and Past District Presidents as set forth in Article IV.
The president or another member of each Sisterhood should check in at the registration table and receive an envelope with the full number of voting cards allocated to that Sisterhood. That person is responsible for distributing the cards to her members. If there are fewer members than cards, an attendee may hold up multiple cards. Each card counts as one vote and there is only one color card.
Individual Members: Special note that IMs are treated as a block and are allocated 2 votes total. If there is an Individual Member attending in person, she will vote the 2 votes for the group.
Thank you.
