Pacific District 2026 Board Nominations Application

Now Open!
Deadline to apply is November 30, 2025.

Help ensure that our district continues to have the leadership it needs by submitting your application now! We encourage all interested members to consider "joining the circle" by completing a leadership application. Links to the self-nominating form and required endorsement form are below. If you would like to reach out to current or past District and WRJ leaders to learn more about their experiences, please feel free to email Pacific District Nominations Chair Cher Krichmar, at [email protected].

One of the most important functions of the District Convention is the election and installation of officers and area directors who serve as a vital link between WRJ and our local women's groups and individual members. The Pacific District has developed capable and strong leaders that have served our district over the years and many have advanced their involvement with WRJ through board and committee roles. The leaders we elect directly impact their communities, where we work to strengthen our Reform Movement.

Elected offices and positions for which applications will be accepted include: President, 1st Vice President, Recording Secretary, Corresponding Secretary, Treasurer, 8 Vice Presidents** (3 Area VPs, Engagement, Marketing & Communications, Philanthropy, Social Justice, and Spirituality, to be assigned by the incoming President), and Area Directors. The offices of the President and 1st Vice President may each be filled by two persons.

** Please note: An amendment to the WRJ Pacific District Bylaws increasing the number of Vice Presidents will be voted on either prior to or at the WRJ Pacific District 2026 Convention. If the amendment does not pass, the position of Spirituality Vice President will be an appointed chair position.

Click here for the 2026 Proposed Job Descriptions to read about the qualifications and responsibilities for each incoming 2026 WRJ PD elected Board position.

Who Can Apply: Anyone who is a member in good standing with WRJ and Pacific District shall be eligible.

Term Of Office: The slate of elected offices and positions will be announced no later than January 15th and will be presented to the delegates at the WRJ Pacific District 2026 Convention to be held in March 2026 for voting. The term of office will begin after the convention in March 2026 and end in Spring 2029.

What You Can Do: Consider applying for a board position in 2026. Nominate yourself by clicking on the red button below to submit your Candidate Form. As part of your application, you will also need to submit an endorsement from your sisterhood or Pacific District or WRJ leader, or if you are a WRJ Individual Member, your Endorsement Form may be submitted by a business associate or personal reference. Please encourage members you know to apply. It is only with members becoming new active leaders that our District will stay energized and benefit from new ideas and methods.

If you are currently serving in an elected board position and wish to continue in your current position, you will also need to apply; please fill out a Candidate Form and also ask your sisterhood or Pacific District or WRJ leader to fill out an Endorsement Form.

How To Apply: To submit your application, both of the following steps must be completed:

  1. Submit your Candidate Form before the November 30, 2025 deadline.
  2. Request that your sisterhood president or Pacific District or WRJ leader submit the Endorsement Form, or if you are a WRJ Individual Member, your Endorsement Form may be submitted by a business associate or personal reference.

Forms can be submitted electronically along with the necessary supporting materials by clicking on the red buttons below.

Questions? Ask a current Pacific District Board Member or email Pacific District Nominations Chair Cher Krichmar, at [email protected].
