Pacific District 2023 Board Nominations
Applications Still Open!
Deadline extended to January 15.
Help ensure that our district continues to have the leadership it needs by submitting your application now! We encourage all interested women to consider "joining the circle" by completing a leadership application. Links to the self-nominating form and required endorsement form are below. If you would like to reach out to current or past District and WRJ leaders to learn more about their experiences, please feel free to email Pacific District Nominations Chair Dana Adler, at [email protected].
One of the most important functions of the District Convention is the election and installation of officers and area directors who serve as a vital link between WRJ and our local women's groups and individual members. The Pacific District has developed capable and strong leaders that have served our district over the years and many have advanced their involvement with WRJ through board and committee roles. The leaders we elect directly impact the presence of Jewish women in their communities, where we work to strengthen our Reform Movement.
Elected offices and positions for which applications will be accepted include: President, 1st Vice President, Recording Secretary, Corresponding Secretary, Treasurer, 7 Vice Presidents (3 Area VPs, Marketing & Communications, Philanthropy, Social Action & Advocacy, and Membership to be assigned by the incoming President), and Area Directors.

Who Can Apply: Any Jewish woman who is a member in good standing with WRJ and Pacific District shall be eligible.
Term Of Office: The slate of elected offices and positions will be announced in early February and presented to the delegates at the WRJ Pacific District 2023 Convention to be held in March 2023 for voting. The term of office will begin after the convention in March 2023 and end in Spring 2026.

As part of your application, you will also need to submit a picture of yourself as well as an endorsement from your sisterhood or Pacific District or WRJ leader. Please encourage women you know to apply. It is only with new women becoming active leaders that our District will stay energized and benefit from new ideas and methods.
