WRJ Pacific District HUC Connections
The goal of the WRJ Pacific District HUC Connections Committee is to establish a strong link between HUC-JIR Los Angeles students and our Pacific District and to learn more about each other. This will build on the century old support that WRJ has provided to the Hebrew Union College, in grants and financial aid to the college and scholarships for students.
We will plan to meet HUC students for ongoing discussion and planning at our Area Days, webinars, lunches at HUC, YES Fund events, and at the WRJ Fried Womens Conference. Our committee is made up of experienced leaders including Associate Dean of HUC-JIR Los Angeles Dr. Madelyn Katz, who is our PD liaison to HUC and a WRJ Board Member. Committee members include Dana Adler, Cher Krichmar, Phyllis Bigelson, Robin Plotnik, Ellen Bick, Resa Davids, Rabbi Mindie Snyder, Cindy Weshrob, and Judie Shor Ning.
